Well done to all #LG12s players, coaches and parents who helped raise an amazing £300+ for alder hay at this challenging time.

They managed to run 26.2 miles between them all and show support to a charity close to all the teams hearts.

The idea for the marathon / fund raiser came around because Kitty the 8yr old sister of one of our U12's players has for the past few months, been receiving treatment at Alder Hay Childrens Hospital after being diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Cancer. She is incredibly brave along with her family so to give something back we decided to complete the distance of a marathon (26.2) between the players, we even had parents and coaches taking on the challenge!!!  This was in collaberation with friends and family taking part in a 50km bike ride. We are pleased to annouce U12's have raised almost £300 and there is still more to come in ?
